Producing great coffee takes more than beans and a roasting machine, but also the skill of the roasters acquired through training and experience. Our Artisan Roasters are qualified baristas and certified roasters who know our beans and have a comprehensive understanding of the equipment used to create our bespoke coffees.
Thursdays are roasting days with Miss Norma at Red Parrot Coffee and the Artisans who can be viewed through the glass panel in the Parrot Espresso Bar although due to the concentration and data collection required cannot be spoken too when roasting.
- Artisan – The person roasting the beans.
- Roaster – the type of machine that cooks the beans.
- Controls on the roaster: heat, airflow, speed, cooler
You have a choice of 18 bespoke coffees any time, every day when you drink coffee at Parrot Espresso Bar.
